My current research interests include the following topics:

(1) The role played by collective memories (or social representations of history) in shaping social identities and in influencing intergroup relation processes. I am particularly interested in representations of the colonial past, the group-based emotions they trigger, and intergroup attitudes between members of formerly colonizing and formerly colonized peoples.

(2) Acculturation processes of people from immigrant descent.
